Otpetye moshenniki

Otpetye trio met with 1980s disco legend C. C. Catch last year during their tour around Siberia. Moshenniki and a German beauty sang in the same concert programme. It was then when C.C. fell in love with boy band's songs. "What they are doing with the audience is fantastic!" - raved the singer having seen the reaction of the audience to the Moshenniki' performance.

When this year C. C. Catch was offered to take part in the project Melodies and rhythms of World pop and to sing with some of the Russian stars she announced without hesitation that she would like to make a duet with no one but Otpetye moshenniki. And she wanted to sing not just any song but her top super hit I Can Lose My Heart Tonight. Moshenniki wrote Russian lyrics for this song and recorded a new version of disco smash-hit together with C. C. in studio. After successful joint performance in the Kremlin, when heated audience could not calm down for a long time and did not want to let the stars leave the stage, C. C. completely hardened to the view that Otpetye was the best pop band in Russia.
